About the New York Self Storage Association
Incorporated as a not-for-profit corporation in 1982, the Association was established to provide a strong network of information and a wealth of shared experience for self-storage owners, operators, and industry professionals throughout New York State.
The Association’s primary mission is to support owner/operators in addressing the many challenges of the self-storage industry, including building code compliance, lien law issues, auctions, property tax strategies, manager education, and industry visibility.
Its ultimate goal is to unite the self-storage industry statewide and serve as a vigilant legislative watchdog on behalf of its members.
